The Malaysian F1 Grand Prix 2002 was held at Sepang F1 circuit 15-16-17 March 2002. It was the second race of the year as the Formula 1 2002 season started in Melbourne, Australia, 3 March. Ralf Schumacher was the winner. There were 17 races in 2002 and the season ended in Suzuka, Japan, 13 October with Michael Scumacher as world champion.
